Annual Meeting March 2025.
Our Annual Meeting was held in March 2025 and I was very pleased and privileged to be nominated as President again, which I accepted.
Winslow WI is a flourishing friendly Institute with 70 members, of whom an average of 45 attend our monthly meetings to socialize and listen to a variety of speakers. We have many interest groups, which are run by our members. In addition, we arrange visits to places of interest, lunches and support Aylesbury Women’s Refuge. You can meet us at the Winslow Show, which is held every year on August Bank Holiday Monday.
The WI Resolution this year is ‘Bystanders can be Lifesavers’. Steve Acton, a First Responder based in Winslow, gave us some training on basic first aid and using the defibrillator, which was not as daunting as we all had thought.
If you are new to Winslow, on your own, or just want to make new friends, please come along to one of our meetings - you will be made very welcome.

We belong to The Chase Group WIs which includes:-
Great Horwood & Singleborough, Padbury, Stewkley, Winslow, and Winslow Early Birds.
We are a friendly group with long standing and new members all receiving complementary refreshments, newsletters and interesting and enlightening speakers with plenty of time to chat and make new friends. We are a busy WI and organise various events of our own, whilst enjoying those organised by the Bucks Federation. There are also several interest groups meeting between the monthly meeting.
